Paper Sweeties Guest Design Post: Happy Sweater Weather

HAPPY SWEATER WEATHER CARD - PAPER SWEETIES GUEST DESIGN POST SEPTEMBER 16, 2021

  Hello Friends,

Welcome back to my blog. Today's post is my last Guest Design post for Paper Sweeties for this lovely month of September 2021.

This month we are featuring Paper Sweeties "Sweet Mini's" stamp sets.  They are all on sale this month too:  10% off!  Just use code "SweetMini" at checkout to receive the discount!

I used the adorable "Sweater Weather" Mini set to create my card. I created the background by using the various stamps in the set in several colors of inks.  I used a fine-liner brown pen to add additional details to the sweaters, leaves, and hearts. I love these tiny extra details!

I inked over the background stamped panel with some Tea-Dye distress ink to finish off the background and then edged the panel with dark brown ink too.  Doesn't it look COZY!

I created the sentiment panel using the word "Happy" from the wonderful  "Blessed Stamp Set"

I then very carefully cut the "sweater weather" sentiment from the "Sweater Weather" mini set in half with sharp scissors so that I could ink each word up in a separate color to stamp underneath to complete "Happy Sweater Weather" as my sentiment.  And that completed this lovely Autumn card.

Thanks for following along these past three days as I shared inspiration for the month of September for Paper Sweeties.  Don't forget to check out all of the Creative Designers posts linked on Debbie's Paper Sweeties Blog: HERE

Paper Sweeties Guest Design Post: Fall Sweet Fall Card

FALL SWEET FALL CARD - PAPER SWEETIES GUEST DESIGN POST SEPTEMBER 14, 2021

 Hello Friends,

I am here today to share a little inspiration using some adorable "Sweet Mini's" stamp sets from Paper Sweeties for the month of September.  I will be posting a project today, September 14th, and on the 15th and 16th as well.  I hope you will join me and the other wonderful creative designers via the blog hop!  You can access the hop links via the Paper Sweeties blog:

Paper Sweeties Blog

I used the wonderful Sweet Mini stamp set called:  Sweater Weather to create my card.  All of the "Sweet Mini" stamp sets are on a 10% off sale this month too. Use code "SweetMini" at check out to receive the discount!

I paper pieced the sweet coffee mug using a two-toned orange gingham patterned paper.  I colored the flowers and created a background with Copic markers.

I love this gingham coffee mug!  So cute!

I added a small piece of folded lace and a small piece of folded orange gingham paper with a tiny bow to finish off the card.  Then I sprayed it with some Glitter Dust spray to add a bit of sparkle!  It is so pretty when the sun catches it!  A relatively clean and simple card perfect to welcome Autumn!

Autumn is starting to show here as the leaves are beginning to turn colors....now if we can just get some rain!  This is the driest our state has ever been!  I cannot wait for pumpkins, hot apple cider, cozy sweaters with boots, and chilly days with RAIN too....all the joys Fall brings!

I hope you will check out all of the designers wonderful posts today. Just go over to the most recent post on the Paper Sweeties blog and hop along!

Thanks so much for your visit here today.  I hope to see you tomorrow!  I have a lovely set of treat tags to share for gifting a homemade baked good!  Don't miss it!

Curating Christmas 2020: Home for the Holidays...

 Hello,

Autumn is beginning already here in the Pacific Northwest...the trees are turning colors and losing their leaves and the nights are getting cooler.  As the season changes my mind begins to think of the upcoming holidays.  And of decking the halls for both Halloween and Autumn as well as Thanksgiving  and Christmas. The Christmas holidays are my very favorite as it is the season of giving and showing our love to one another and for me that means creating Christmas tags.  I made quite a few this summer during the "Christmas in July" celebration and will continue right up until Thanksgiving Day when I gift them to family and friends.

So I thought I would share some photos of how I decorate my craft room and get it ready for Christmas Crafting.  These photos are from curating some Christmas cheer in my studio last year....2020.  I love having my craft room full of creative goodness and lots of inspiring Christmas tags and trims for making gift giving fun! I am sharing a bit of the items I had on display in my tiny basement studio last year... and I am beginning to think about what I will do this year too!  I call it "Curating for Christmas".  It makes creating holiday projects and packaging so much fun!

I hope you like seeing some of my studio holiday decor. Just spreading a little pre-holiday cheer...

Many of the items you see in the photos above are gifts and makes from my wonderful crafty friends.  They always make my heart smile!

Thanks for taking a peek!
