Rustic Wreath Christmas Cards.....

Hello Friends,
I made a few Christmas cards this past weekend using the wonderful Rustic Wreath and A Thrill of Hope Stamp sets from Papertrey Ink.   I love both of these wonderful stamp sets!  They are getting lots of use in my craftroom as Christmas approaches.

I also used a heart tag die and some snowflake dies from Mama Elephant.  And a mint green floral paper from the Sunshine Backgrounds Digital Printable from Iralamija Shop on Etsy.

On this first card I layered the wreath 4 times for added dimension.  It is embossed with some shabby green embossing enamel from Stampendous.  I love the glittery sheen this gave the wreath though you cannot see it in the photo.

This card is a combo of kraft, blue and mint.....so nice!

Another color combo I love....Scarlet Jewel, Kraft and creamy watercolor paper!

And this one is all rainbow colors with a frosted window affect using the same shabby embossing powders from Stampendous in pink and green.  So fun!

That is it for me!  I hope you all have a lovely Halloween....my not so little guy and I carved a pumpkin tonight....

I cannot believe he is in high school all ready!

Hugs,
Jill

Happy 7th Birthday Paper Sweeties!

Hello!  Today I have a very special post to share with you in honor of Paper Sweeties 7th Birthday!

So I hope you will grab a hot beverage and join me for a while as I have several cards and some fun
Christmas tags to share today:

I am blessed to be an Alumni Designer for Debbie's wonderful company Paper Sweeties.  She invited me to share a post during her birthday month of August so I have been creating some projects to share with all of you!

First a special Birthday card featuring one of Debbie's original paper doll stamps Abigail and the coordinating sweet cut:

Abigail is colored with Copic markers and her outfit is paper pieced.  She is holding up the number 7 in honor of Paper Sweeties 7th Birthday!

I am so happy to be celebrating with everyone that loves Paper Sweeties so much!  Thanks Debbie for seven wonderful years of crafty goodness to share with all of my friends and family!

Next I played with the Sweet Cuts set:  "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee"  I love this sweet coffee or tea cup die set!  It is so fun to stack on a card front.  I used a ton of different sentiment sets including my current favorite the wonderful Merry Stamp Set.  Here are the cards I created:

Faith, Hope, and Love!  The perfect card to send to a friend who needs some support!

The next two cards use the "Merry" stamp set too...but are Christmas themed:

This first one is in traditional colors....

And this next one is in shabby colors:

I love how quick these Christmas cards came together!
I added some Diamond Stickles glitter glue to each of these Christmas cards though you cannot see it very well in the pictures!  They are so sparkly and beautiful in person!

Next a more summery card....

This sweet "Bless Your Heart" sentiment is from the southern standards set called "Hey Y'all".

And here is one about kindness:

"Friendship begins with a cup of kindness" is from the "You Warm My Heart" stamp set.

This fun sentiment comes from the "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee Stamp Set".  The coordinating sweet cuts die set contains the mug or cup that I used on all of these cards. So fun!

And "Sending You a HUG in a MUG" is from the "But First Coffee stamp set".  Perfect for sending someone a "hug" through the mail!

Yay!  This wonderful group of cards is all ready to be boxed up and shared with a friend!

I also created some wonderful Christmas tags using this same mug (or tea cup) die and the wonderful "Merry" stamp set once again.

Here are the tag bases all ready to be decorated! All the pretty colors and patterns just make me smile! The whip cream topping on each cup was created with the "Sweet Cuts Cupcakes and Sprinkles" die set.    I used two cupcake frosting die cuts on each mug.

Here is a sample of a finished tag for inspiration!

The candy cane in the mug on this "I (heart) SNOW" tag is from the "Homemade with love" stamps and sweet cuts sets. The little ginger girl is from a RETIRED Paper Sweeties set and is no longer available for purchase in the store, however, Debbie's shop has many wonderful new holiday sets that will be fantastic for your Holiday projects!

Thanks so much for joining me today and celebrating Paper Sweeties 7th Birthday!

Christmas in July 2019

Hello Friends,
I thought I would post a few pictures here on my blog of the Christmas tags I worked on this summer during "Christmas in July"...which included some tags I actually made in August too.

Product information about how these tags were made can be found on my Instagram posts:  https://www.instagram.com/greenwoodgirlcards/
Or you can also look at my long winded videos on YT where I do try to show the dies and stamps that I use for each project and a close up of each tag.

These sweet stocking tags were made with a new Sissix Framelet style die designed by Sophie Guilar and a Cottage Cutz "Gingerbread Doll 4x4" Die" which came packaged with some Peachy Keen face stamps.  The "Fa La La"stamp is from Papertrey Ink.  I have to say that tags with gingerbread men and women and ginger children are my very favorite ones to create each year!  They make me smile every time!

The snowflake behind the center tag is a "Fancy Flake" die from Papertrey Ink.

Here are some closer views:

The sweet wood striped shabby pink paper is from Iralamija Shop on Etsy

How about some wonderful Candy Canes using an AWESOME die from Simon Says Stamp:

Here are some in traditional Red Green....I LOVE THIS DIE!  Thanks Simon Says Stamp!!!!!

And some in pink and mint green:

The sweet round tag added to these candy canes is from Lil Inker Designs and is called the "Charm Tag Die Set" I love this set!!!!!! So perfect for adding a sentiment to shaped Christmas tags of any kind! The sentiments are from the "Friendship Jar Holiday Fillers" stamp set at Papertrey Ink.

We interrupt these Chrismtas tag posts to add another sweet gingerbread tag....
They bring a smile....don't they? I adore this sweet mixing bowl die set that Frantic Stamper created!  LOVE IT!!!!!  Baking themed products are so fun for Christmas tags!

Next some Ice Skating themed tags. These use two different wonderful Ice skater dies from Simon Says Stamp:

I love this Doily Die behind the skaters. It is from Neat and Tangled!  It really made these tags stand out!

And a whole row of them all lined up!

This is the Twirling Skater Die also from Simon Says Stamp!  I love both of these ice skating dies as I skated every winter growing up on a lake near my home.  My sisters are going to love these tags for sure!  Thanks Simon Says Stamp!!!!

I need to make more of this wonderful skater!  I love her!

Next come these sweet baking themed tags!  They feature the wonderful bowl die set with a whisk from Frantic Stamper.  And the sweet gingerbread dolls from Cottage Cutz as well as some old Quik Kutz ginger 2x2 dies too.

Can you tell how much I love my gingers?  And anything baking related too! So sweet!

And here is one in blue:

And some in more traditional Chrismtas colors too:

This larger gingerbread girl tag is made using two Gingerbread die sets at Taylored Expressions that make both a girl and boy gingerbread all dressed up for the Christmas holidays!  You will love them!

This sweet Momma Ginger is carrying a baby ginger 2x2 quik kutz die cut with a Peachy Keen face and white chalk pencil accents.

The cute oven mitt tag is a tag die from a small holiday themed tag set of 4 dies at Lawn Fawn!  It can also be used as a mitten of course!

The "Homemade Gingerbread" stamp is from the "Friendship Jar Holiday Fillers" stamp set from Papertrey Ink!  I use this set every single year at the holidays!

How about some mitten tags using a sweet Pinpoint mitten die set from Poppy Stamps and a pair of hanging mittens from Frantic Stamper!

Some in a red and white combo! So wonderful for the upcoming holidays:

Love the felt hearts on this sweet pair!  And the gorgeous detailing on this mitten die!  I hope Memory Box and Poppy Stamps make more of these style dies!

More gingers:

This tag with the oven mitt uses a Spellbinders Mitten Die set and a sentiment from Lawn Fawn!  The background tags are from Pink Fresh Studio!  I love the cutouts that come with this wonderful set of dies!  Isn't that circle tag cute backed with kraft card stock!  So gingery!

Next more mitten tags:

These sweet tiny tags are using a tiny mitten die included in the Lil Inker Designs shaker mitten die set!

Do tiny things make you happy?  They make my heart smile!

I love how these shaker mittens turn out! They are so fun to shake!  My son loves playing with them!
This one is filled with some Pretty Pink Posh clear gems!  So fun!

This one has the gems and some sequins too!  This is such a wonderful die set by Lil Inker Designs!  Thanks so much!

And here are a couple more stockings in traditional red and a fun tropical teal:

The sweet whittle deer die is from Poppy Stamps too!

And finally one in red with GOLD GLITTER CARD STOCK accents!  So fun!

I didn't take pictures of all of the tags I created yet but this is a lot of them.  Thanks for taking a look!
Happy Holiday Crafting!
Jill
