Some get well wishes....

My sweet Mother is always putting together little get well gifts for her friends that are having health problems or surgeries etc.  She bakes them a loaf of her famous Zuchini bread or Pumpkin bread and adds a sweet card.  She was running low on cards so over the past few days I made her a few using one of my favorite sets from Lawn Fawn "On the Mend".

I thought I would post a few picks and add my post to the inlinkz for the latest Lawnscaping challenge:

My pictures do not show the "wink of stella" that I added to the tissue boxes etc. but it is there....

These cards are 4" x 4" and very simple....just the adorable images and a sentiment.

The papers are scraps from my stash.  It is nice to be able to use up some of my paper scraps!

I colored the images with Prima colored pencils on the 4th of July.  Then made them into cards later in the week.  Simple and sweet and sure to bring a smile to someone who is not feeling well.

My mom's favorite is that sweet little turtle with his ice pack!  In real life the ice pack is all glittery as if with condensation!

Thanks for taking a peek.

  2. Jill...I am not sure which one of you is sweeter, your mom for making the bread or you for making these adorable cards! I have to guess it is a tie, both you are so thoughtful and these little cards are as cute as can be.

  4. This is an adorable little set. How sweet of you to keep mom supplied with cards. I should do the same for my mom. Such a nice thing to do. I do give hervcards to use, but keeping her supplied would be better.
