It has been a bit since I last posted. I have been busy caring for my sweet hubbie and getting ready for his birthday. Also getting my son through the final day of kindergarten for the year! Wow those school years seem long but also go by quick. Now we are finally in the sweet summertime break from school. But since we live in the Pacific Northwest we still are not seeing summer weather - just rain and clouds with the occasional sun break for a few hours if we are lucky. We did have a very nice sunny day on the last day of school which made for a perfect afternoon of celebration at a local spray park with lots of school kids after the day was over. Fun! Fun! Fun!
Here are some of the cards I have been making recently:
The banner dies and stamps are an older set from Papertrey Ink - love felt banners!
Here are some of the cards I have been making recently:
This one above in pink was a thank you for a neighbor who gave us a wonderful gift of assistance with our garden.
This is a card I submitted for publishing that didn't make the cut. I made the flower out of felt and a pipe cleaner and paper. Love the colors of this one!
This is a thank you for a friend named Kara who taught the very first card making class I have ever attended. She is fighting breast cancer so keep her in your prayers!
Don't you just love felt flowers? They are so fun!
Here is one of the Father's Day cards that I made. This one was given to my father-in-law.

This is a thank you card which I haven't mailed to anyone yet....but I am sure it will have a new home shortly...
This is a sympathy card...
The flowers are felt, pipe cleaners and pearls and the sentiment is from a PTI set called "Sending You".
The butterfly is a die from MFT.
Well I had more cards to post including some I made for teachers at my sons school but blogger and my computer have decided not to allow me to upload anymore pictures right now so this is it for today...more another time! Happy Summer everyone!
