Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge

Hello all,
I made a card to participate in the Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge.  You can see all of the information and hopefully play along too: HERE.

I love the inspiration photo!  The colors of aqua, light and darker shades of pink, and the roses and leaves really spoke to me.  I inked up my "Rosie Posie" stamp set for the first time and came up with this card:

Thanks for taking a look at my card.  I sure enjoy seeing what everyone comes up with based on the inspiration photo.  I think this is just my second time participating.  I like that they release the info early on Nichole's blog.  It gives me some time to work on it ahead of having to post it on the 25th.
Happy hopping!

:) Jill

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 24 - Birthday

Hello all,
Sorry it has been so long since I last posted anything.  I finally got some time to craft and made a card for the Cheery Lynn Designs weekly challenge #24.  The theme is "Birthday".  You can join in the challenge over at the Cheery Lynn Designs challenge blog:  HERE.

I made a sweet little birthday card with a lovely ice cream cone on the front.....

The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye - Howdy Doody 6x6 pad.  The cardstock is Papertrey Ink.
Here are the lovely Cheery Lynn Dies that I used on my project:
E161 - Old Parchment Embossing plate
B136 - Anastasia Border Die
DL180 Nautical Wheeler Doily
XL-5 - Circle Scalloped Stackers Nesting dies
XL-13 - French Flair Scalloped Stackers Nesting Dies
On the cone I added a pretty paper cover made with the center portion of the Nautical Wheeler Doily Die from Cheery Lynn Designs.
The cone and ice cream scoop outline stamps and the sentiment stamps are all from Papertrey Ink.

That is it for me today.  Thanks for taking a look at my "sweet" birthday card.  Is anyone else ready for some ice cream?
Yummy!

:) Jill
