Paper Sweeties March 2016 Release Rewind!

Hello and welcome to the Paper Sweeties Release Rewind Hop!  Today we are sharing projects using the new release products from March along with some of the wonderful existing products from the Paper Sweeties Stamps/Sweet Cuts catalog!

Here is what I have to share today:
This card combines many different sets to create a sweet scene!  Our sweet Paper Sweeties Creator Debbie has decided to stay in her pajamas today, drink coffee, and make cute stuff!  Don't we all want to do that?  I know I do!  Maybe this Saturday I will be able to?!

To create this card I first colored sweetie "Abigail" to look like our wonderful Debbie with blond hair.  She is dressed in the nightgown from the "I love You" stamp set and is holding a handmade card she is working on.  I wanted it to look like the sun was coming up in her craft room window so I used some yellow ink to create a round area on my background panel.  I then die cut a circle from my green gingham panel so the inking would show through.

I stamped this tiny mug of coffee and added Debbie's name to it. It was very hard to write that tiny! LOL!

The mug is from the "Naughty or Nice" stamp set.  It is sitting on her craft table all ready to be sipped!  I also stamped 3 bows from this same set to decorate the curtain in the window and added some "bubblegum" sequins for sparkle. This wonderful sentiment is from the new "Coffee, yes please!" stamp set and is one of my favorites! I love how this sweet scene turned out.

My last card for this release is another small circle card:

I love this pink and green color combo.  The stamps used on this card are from the new "Eat Cake" stamp set.  I used my leftover paper scraps from the first card to make this card!

I love this sweet mint green and rose teacup! And the teabag too!

Well that is it for me for the March Release!  But there is lots more to see from the rest of our wonderfully talented team:

Paper Sweeties March 2016 Release Party

IT'S HERE!  Today is Release Day at PAPER SWEETIES!  All of the new products we have been showcasing are available today! Hooray!

And here are two more cards to inspire you:

These cards both use the sweet teacup and teabag from the "Eat Cake" stamp and sweet cuts sets.

On this card I added the sentiment "Feel Better Soon" from the stamp set of the same name! I stamped it in pink ink first and then in brown for a two-toned effect.

Next I had some fun with patterned paper. I stacked 5 paper-pieced teacups up nice and high on this card for a fun focal point.  The sentiment is from the new "Eat Cake" stamp set too. I used a Copic marker to add a bit of coloring to the words.  A few "bubble-gum" sequins add a finishing touch.

That is it for me today but I hope you will hop around to the rest of our wonderful "Sweeties Teamies" to see what they have created too:

And come back tomorrow for our Release Rewind posts.  We will be mixing some of the new stamps with products from our existing catalog.

NOTE:  New stamps and sweet cuts will be linked here after March 15th release.

Paper Sweeties March 2016 Release Countdown

I am back today, along with our fabulous Paper Sweeties Design Team, to continue showcasing the wonderful new March Release for Paper Sweeties.  I am just in love with the new sets that will be available on the 15th!  They are so versatile and have such sweet images!

My first card showcases the new "Eat Cake" stamps and sweet cuts.  I love the adorable images in this set! It is a set that will stay on my craft table and get lots of use for birthdays as well as so many other occasions like  "get well" and "thinking of you".  I had so much fun paper piecing the images to come up with my little scene:

All of the images are from the new "Eat Cake" stamp set.  I stamped them on patterned paper and then hand cut them out along the image lines.  Then I used the dies to die cut white card stock to create a background or border around my images in white.  I love this look and the dimension it adds to the scene.  A few "frosting" sequins  and some glitter glue add some shine!

My next card uses the new "Coffee, yes please!" stamp set and sweet cuts dies!  I paper pieced a sweet little latte cup and added a heart to the coffee collar or java jacket in some gingham paper.
I love how the sentiment "Coffee, yes please!" has a coffee bean for the "o"!  Again some "frosting" sequins add a touch of sparkle to the card!  Simple and sweet!

I have one last card for you today.....

This card uses the "Coffee, yes please" stamp set and sweet cuts dies too.
I paper pieced the coffee cup in this sweet turquoise floral paper and hand cut it around the image line.  I then die cut the matching coffee cut sweet cut from white card stock to create a layer behind the image and the white outline.  A bit of "diamond" Stickles adds a sweet sparkle to the steam rising from the cup.

The "robin egg" sequins help draw attention to the sentiment stamped in turquoise ink.    I love the little hearts around the word "cuppa"!

There is more wonderful inspiration to see using these fantastic new sets from the entire Sweeties team:

Also don't forget about our monthly challenge that is going on through the end of March!  There is a $20.00 gift certificate and a guest design spot for the winner!

I hope to see you back here tomorrow for our Release Party!  You will get to see all of the stamp sets in their entirety and tons more inspiration from the team! Yay!

NOTE:  New sets used in the above projects will be linked after March 15, 2016
