Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge - May 2016

Hello Friends,
Welcome to the May 2016 Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge!  Today the Sweeties Teamies have lots of beautiful cards to share using this lovely inspiration:

I love the colors of pink and green with cream or white and had fun creating a Mother's Day card to inspire you!  Mother's Day is coming up this Sunday on May 8th!

I used the "Sweet" word die from the "Sweet Cuts Happy" die set.  I die cut it three times out of a pink and green floral patterned paper and then inslaid three white die cuts.  I then used a new set of dies which will not be released until May 15th to create my stitched banner shape.  You will learn more about this new stamp and die set during our upcoming countdown starting on May 12th and running through May 16th!  The word "Mother" is from the "You are the most wonderful" stamp set.

Here is a list of everyone participating in today's May Challenge Blog Hop:

Paper Sweeties April 2016 Release Rewind

Today is our final day sharing projects using the new April Release from Paper Sweeties!  On our release rewind day we always try to include a project that incorporates some of our existing sets with the new products just released.  If you missed the new releases that came our yesterday here is a list and links:

I created several cards to share with you today.  The first card (shown above) is a CAS Mother's Day card which incorporates the previously released "You are the most Wonderful" stamp set.  A favorite of mine for sure!  I needed a card that I could easily mail so I created a single-layer card by stamping the sweet flower from the Happy Spring stamp set over and over again to create a border along the left side of the card.  I then just added the sweet sentiment on the right and colored three of the flowers in to lead your eye through the card.  Simple and sweet.

Next...I also want to share a couple of small 3.5" x 3.5" cards that I made using the new "Happy Spring" stamp set:

I used the same small flower stamp from "Happy Spring" on these cards.

On this card I once again stamped directly on the card base with the flower creating a border along the left corner and sides adding copic coloring to three of the flowers for a visual triangle.  Then I stamped the "Hello Spring" sentiment from the same stamp set to finish.  A sweet little card for spring to give to a friend.

This card follows the same steps except that I stamped on some pink and white gingham patterned paper and added some white dots to the flower centers.  I also stamped the sentiment on a flag and glued it to the card.

Well that is it for me but I hope you will hop along to all of our wonderful design team member blogs to see all of their gorgeous inspiration too:

My card again features the new "Happy Spring" stamps and sweet cuts dies.  I love this sweet little wreath and accessories!  It is a great stamp set for all occasions!

I used the flower and leaf stamps and dies included in this set to decorate the wreath this time.  And I also added a felt bow using the "Stitched Tags #2 Sweet Cuts" .  It was the perfect finishing touch to this sweet floral grapevine wreath.

Paper Sweeties April 2016 Release Sneak Peeks

Hello!  It is my favorite time of the month again!  Time for Sneak Peeks for the April release at Paper Sweeties!

This month Debbie is releasing the following sets:

My card features the new "Happy Spring" stamps and sweet cuts.  I die cut and stamped the wreath with some kraft colored ink and then added a die cut and stamped bow:
I colored the bow in shades of blues with my Copic markers to match with my chosen patterned papers.  The sentiment "Hello" was selectively inked from the "Hello Spring" sentiment in the "Happy Spring" stamp set.

I hope you will follow along with our "Sneak Peek" Blog Hop today:

And don't forget about the April Monthly Challenge over at the Paper Sweeties Blog: HERE.

Hope to see you back here tomorrow for our Release Party!  All of the new products will be for sale on the 15th!
