A card for the Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop....

Hello Friends,  I am just popping in with a simple and sweet card for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! 

I needed a thank you to send to a special friend who recently sent me a gift.

I chose to use a digital stamp that I have had for a while but never tried.  It is from an online company called "From The Heart Stamps".   Here is a graphic of the set that I used:

 

And here is my very simple card:

 I colored the image with copic markers after printing it out on white cardstock.  The background panel was inked with distress inks a while back and was waiting to be used.  I hand doodled the grass and tiny flowers at her feet to add some additional interest to the scene.

The inside has one of my favorite sentiments from this digital set and I printed it on my printer and then cut the panel to fit on the inside of my card.  A scrap of blue gingham adds a touch of color.

That is it for me.....off to get this in the mail.  Hoping to have some time to check out more of the wonderful cards everyone is making for the Summer hop!  I have seen some gorgeous cards on Facebook and Instagram over the Father's Day weekend!  So fun and inspiring!
