It is 7pm on Monday evening and I am finally over my migraine! Yeah! I have a card to share that I made earlier this week and a tag too...
I used a new Cheery Lynn Designs tree die and border die that I purchased from their summer release that just came out. I love the little star and swish cut outs that are on this tree die. So pretty! I added some glitter glue with gold highlights in it so I can enter it into the latest Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge #90 - Silver and/or Gold. I love the way the gold flecks sparkle in the above photo! They are even prettier in person!
The card also uses some trendy twine in the color "Posy" (soft pink and cream) which I won on a recent Facebook giveaway! So sweet!
Here is another picture which shows the gold glitter effect on the tree better. And also shows the tag again with the tiny angel wings that I created from the "leftover" cutouts in the Sofia's Heart Border Die. Now I can make baby angel wings any time I want them. The Sofia's Heart Doily Die makes slightly bigger angel wings so you can depict a mother/child or family of angels if you want. Love this!
Thanks for taking a look at my card and tag!
:) Jill
So glad you shared them on your blog. From the video it was too far and hard to see all the beautiful detail and work you put into the card and tag. Thanks for sharing your work with us. Ana
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are over your migraine . My daughter had one all day today as well. So that is kinda movie day for the kids.
ReplyDeleteLove this gorgeous card with the beautiful dies! Wow! The tag is gorgeous too! Gland your on the mend ...for me it takes a day to fully get over it!
Wow Jill~ Your pastel holiday card is spectacularly beautiful! I love the way you incorporated all the die cutting and pairing these gorgeous colors with an otherwise red and green season!! ((hugs)) Rebecca
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty, Jill! Almost like a spun sugar feeling...
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely (and detailed) card and tag! Love the soft pink color scheme! Glad your migrane has gone away. One of my best friends (one of the Austen ladies) suffers from them and now is going to a specialist. She needs to avoid, alcohol, chocolate, and caffeine as they are triggers for her. Thought I would share that with you...Hugs!
ReplyDeleteJill, so GORGEOUS! LOVE what you did with that tree die cut and the border on the bottom! Reminded me of a Christmas sugar cookie!
ReplyDeleteThis is so precious! Love how delicate everything looks and all the beautiful detail you have added! Glad to hear you are better--migraines are awful. And is your son all well now? Hopefully nothing serious was going on with the temperatures.
ReplyDeleteWow....this is just beautiful. So soft and sweet and so very feminine too. So much amazing detail too. Just Wow!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way you incorporated the gold background with glitter on your tree. Beautiful. I also like the pink....pretty, pretty, pretty. Thank you for joining us this at Cheery Lynn's Challenge and best of luck.
ReplyDeleteJill, I am in love with your creation! Such pretty soft colors, for a feminine card, with the prettiest details on it. Darling hearts, buttons and lots of bling! I am especially in love with your pretty flowers who are happily holding your card as you photograph :-) Wonderful project! hugs, de (who has pinned your creation)
