This morning I had to wait at home for an important conference call and while I was waiting I was able to create this tag. I played around with a set of colored pencils that my son used at school a couple years ago. I really liked coloring with them....I might need to purchase a higher quality set for Christmas to play around with some more. I love them on the kraft card stock.
Thanks for all of your sweet comments on my last post. I so appreciate everyone's kind words and prayers of support! What a true blessing friends are!!!!
Hugs,
Jill
I definitely would keep Timmy's colored pencils and never give them back! LOVE how they look on the kraft! FAB tag, ill!
ReplyDeleteJill this just makes me happy!! Love the polka dots on top and your beautifully colored scene. I have a tin of my son's colored pencils and love using them!!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful on kraft and pictured with your pinecones . ( I know how much you love those)Those pencils are for sure something to keep! Hope the call went well. Keeping you in my prayers Jill!
ReplyDeleteHehehe, I use what used to be my son's colored pencils! I do have a new set, but like having old sets on hand to get the right color. But, I do LOVE the soft look that you achieved with the coloring on the kraft! What a lovely scene for your tag! I must give it a try on kraft some time! Hope things are going better for you, hugs!
ReplyDeleteIf you're like me, coloring is a wonderfully relaxing activity. Love the look you got with the colored pencils! You might want to keep those handy! The scene is so charming and I love that you created a tag.
ReplyDeleteLove your tag! I love the pencils on the Kraft. I love the complete scene you made. I have PEACE on earth (PTI), are the other ones from them as well? The fun trim you made and the burlap are fab additions. You color great with the pencils. I have Prisma, and love them, and sprung 6 months ago for a medium set of inktense ones after seeing J McGuire use them. They are bright and can be used with water too.
ReplyDeleteSweet Americana style tag, Jill! Very pretty to use the white coloring against the kraft CS, and traditional red. Just darling! hugs, de
ReplyDeleteLove the homespun look of your tag Jill, and that touch of burlap, so sweet.
