Hi Friends,
I am back today with another card for the Cupcake Inspirations 300th Challenge Celebration!
Today's inspiration is called Confetti:
I was inspired by the colorful confetti and the creamy and white neutrals. Here is the card that I created:
My card was created using the Paper Sweeties "Party Time Bundle" - stamps and sweet cuts dies. I started by creating a "Confetti" background. I used the star/confetti background stamp and stamped it onto a white A2 card panel repeatedly using a "rainbow" Colorbox stamp pad. Then I took a paintbrush dipped in water and painted over my stamping to give it a watercolor look. Once the water dried I took a Y11 copic marker and colored over the white card stock to turn the background yellow. Once the background was dry I die cut the balloon and used the matching stamp and the rainbow ink pad to stamp the balloon image onto the die cut balloon.
To carry the star "theme" through the card I embossed my white background panel with a "star" embossing folder. I then used a Copic marker to color 3 of the stars to create a visual triangle on the card carrying your eye down to the sentiment....
The sentiment is from the Paper Sweeties "You Make Me Smile" stamp set. I added some Copic coloring to the banner to add interest.
I hope you will visit the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge Blog to see all of the inspiration for this wonderful celebration!
:) Jill
