Hello and Welcome to the September Release Countdown for Paper Sweeties. Today we are offering sneak peeks at the wonderful new stamps and sweet cuts dies that will be released on September 15th! You are going to love this month's sets!!!
I made a sweet little jar of preserves with a lovely red and white gingham covering! The sentiment "Homemade Preserves" comes from the new "Homegrown" stamp set. A little "Licorice" twine and some "Frosting" colored sequins finish it off nicely! This would be such a perfect card to give a gift of homemade jam or jelly to someone!
Next I used the strawberry stamp and die from the "Homegrown" set and created this card:
I paper pieced the strawberries and added some sweet baby pink flowers to the tops. Love the homespun feel of this card! And the sentiment which is from the "Mason Jar" stamp set allows the card to be given for a variety of occasions.
How about one more card since I made a ton of cards and even some off the page projects for this release!
This one uses "Shabby Wood Backgrounds" digital paper from Iralamija's shop on ETSY. I thought this sweet patterned paper went perfect with the apples in the "Homegrown" set. I paper pieced the apples with some CRATE papers that blended well with the digital paper. Then I added some heart-embossed card stock to add some texture behind the apples. A hemp twine bow adds a sweet touch. The sentiment is from the "Happy Fall Ya'll" stamp set. I thought this would be a perfect card to give to my son's office staff at the school who are so wonderful!
Well that is it for me today! I am sending you along to the rest of our wonderful design team members who have tons of wonderful projects to share too:

ReplyDeleteLove the country, feminine look on the last two cards. The digi paper you used is gorgeous. I don't use digi papers much, but I could see that one getting used a lot! My fav card is the first one. I love all the red--it reminds me of the one and only thing I know how to "can"...Pepper and Onion Relish! Next time I gift a jar to someone, I need to make a similar card to accompany it! ;)
