Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary - Day 5: Spring Into Action Challenge

Hello Friends,
Here with my card for the PTI Anniversary Celebration Day 5:  "Spring Into Action Challenge". We are to use a stamp set that has not seen any ink yet....

I pulled out my "Kid Kudos" stamp set which unfortunately fits this category (a very sad state of affairs I might add!) and made a Valentine card for my son:
I LOVE this set so much! Isn't that tree with the tree house and tire swing adorable!!!!   We have a tree in our backyard that Stuart and I planted the day that Tim was born. It has a swing in it that Tim has played on since he was little.  It doesn't have the tree house yet but hopefully someday.  These images were what made me buy this sweet set!  It also has the most wonderful sentiments in it for kids to show your love and offer encouragement to them.

To create the grassy hill I used one of my Pretty Pink Posh border dies.  Did I tell you that I was lucky and won a prize from their birthday celebration on Lisa Elton's blog!  Thanks again Lisa and Paulina!!!!  I love all of the goodies I received!!!!  Here is a picture:

I love the card that Lisa sent me!  So lovely!  Lisa blogs at: http://mypapertales.blogspot.com/.  She makes the most beautiful cards and always inspires me each time I visit!  Take a look and you will see what I mean!
I cannot wait to spend some time playing with all of these fun new goodies!!!!

By the way....
Here is what I stamped on the inside of the card:

I hope this card makes Tim smile big!  I always make him heart shaped pancakes on Valentine's Day and have a card and gift for him at the table first thing in the morning!  I cannot wait! :)

Hugs,
Jill

  2. Very cute card and love the tree house. My girls had a tree house when they were growing up that their father built them. It even had those small little tykes kitchen, a small baby crib, and changer for the dolls. The slide was their favorite part. Definitely brought back memories. TFS and congrats on the win. ana
